Art Around the World (10:30-11:15 CST), ages 8-14:
Our Art Around the World course is an immersive, multi-sensory journey designed for students who want to explore the globe through the eyes of its greatest creators. This course is designed to explore countries around the world, embrace their cultural differences, and explore artists and their styles while creating one of their own art projects. *Supplies list provided after enrollment
The Cartoonists Club (11:30-12:15 CST), ages 10-14:
Does your student’s notebook have more doodles than notes? At Sanctuary Schoolhouse, we don’t call that a distraction, we call it a career path. Join us for a multi-grade immersive novel study of The Cartoonist’s Club. This isn't your typical "read and answer questions" unit. It’s a deep dive into the art of storytelling, the mechanics of visual literacy, and the business of being a professional creator. *Novel required + basic art/school supplies required
Literacy STEAM (12:30-1:15pm), ages 8-12:
In this course, we treat every story like a blueprint. We don't just analyze a plot arc; we build a bridge that mirrors it. We don't just discuss a character’s "internal pressure," we engineer a system to demonstrates it. By linking literacy to physics, we turn abstract concepts into concrete understanding. *Supplies list provided after enrollment

Read for Speed (10:30-11:15), ages 8-14:
In a traditional classroom, reading aloud is often a source of "compliance stress." In our Read for Speed side quest, we treat reading like a technical skill to be "leveled up." By focusing on the rhythm of language, we help students unlock the confidence they need to tackle grade-level content across all subjects.
This class is specifically designed to support students with ADHD or Dyslexia who may struggle with processing speed or word-retrieval. We prioritize a low-pressure, high-success environment. *Supplies list provided after enrollment
Sinking into Success: The Anne Marie STEAM Exploration (11:30-12:15 CST), ages 8-14:
One Shipwreck. One Heroic Dog. A Thousand Strategic Decisions. When the Anne Marie goes down in the icy Atlantic, the story of Atticus Stockton is more than just a tale of survival—it’s a masterclass in resilience, engineering, and human (and canine) psychology. In this course, students don’t just read a novel; they step into the roles of Coast Guard Strategists, Maritime Engineers, and Wildlife Biologists. *Supplies list provided after enrollment
Handbuilding (12:30-1:15pm), ages 8-14:
In this 12-week course, we transform your home into a ceramics lab. Hand-building is the most natural form of pottery—no heavy machinery required, just your hands, a few simple tools, and the elemental laws of physics.. Designed for beginner creators ages 8 and up, this course serves as a great introduction to pottery through air dry clay (not model magic). *Supplies list provided after enrollment
Sometimes, the path to our true educational destination is clouded by a dense fog... that heavy uncertainty and fear of the unknown that keeps us from making a move. It’s easy to feel paralyzed when the stakes are this high, but you don't have to scout the terrain alone. At Sanctuary Schoolhouse, we specialize in clearing that path.
Whether you need us to build a comprehensive Quest Map from the ground up, provide Monthly Comms and record-keeping to ensure you’re hitting every waypoint, or simply offer a tactical consultation to get you pointed in the right direction, we are here to bridge the gap between doubt and direction. Don’t let the fear of a "mis-click" or an unknown requirement prevent you from doing what is best for your player. Strategy is the antidote to uncertainty.
